You are on a short term assignment in a newly set up affiliate in "Skincare City".
Some basic conditions are set already, like IT system, Production Center (PC), Shared Service Center (SSC) and contracts with customers and suppliers. Your General Manager is on a business trip. The CFO will visit the affiliate for the first time next month for a half-year review of the financial situation of the affiliate.
In this training you will explore Skincare City and gather lots of information about the affiliate. Six modules will lead you step by step through this training and offer you a mixture of information, quizzes, videos and presentations.

Long Term	Short Term	Definition

Working Capital	WOC	Financial key figure to measure both the company's efficiency and its short-term financial health. The working capital ratio is calculated as current assets minus current liabilities.
Intercompany Price	ICP	All products sold and delivered from one BDF legal entity to another BDF legal entity are being invoiced with an ICP, calculated according to company rules as defined in the ACM.
Customer Contribution	CC I-III	Three leveled calculation scheme to determine customer profitability. The structure is similar to the Beiersdorf SoI structure, but includes only customer specific costs; e.g. CC I equals gross margin level.
Statement of Income	SOI	Shows revenues and expenses according to the group accounting principles and indicates how the revenue is transformed into the net income. Also referred to as Profit and Loss Statement (P&L)
Cost of Purchase	COP	The price that is paid for anything that is bought; this is the main component in calculating the returns achieved by the investor.
Cost of Manufacturing	COM	Total costs of products manufactured in-house (this line is only relevant for PCs and PC/DC affiliates)
Procure to Pay	P2P	Procure to Pay (P2P) processes comprise the complete cycle from Purchase Order (procurement) to final payments to vendors
Record to Report	R2R	Record to Report is the management process to ensure strategic, financial and operational reporting according to statuturoy, legal, tax and business regulations. The processes RTR comprise General Ledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory Accounting, key Intercompany business and Cost Center Accounting as central elements for all regular closing activities and finanacial closing reporting (Financial Statements, Profit & Loss, Statement of Income)
Order to cash	O2C	Order to Cash (O2C) processes comprise the complete cycle from customer order (sales) to final payments from customers
Accounting Voucher		Accounting Voucher is a standard template form with the scope of the usage as an instrument of providing posting information from Beiersdorf to the Service Provider.
